A fault in the Papirfly web server pf-web3 caused some customer web sites to be unavailable between 05:06 and 07:24 (GMT+2) on Monday 24th April 2012.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

2012-04-19 - Papirfly database maintenance - completed

Your Papirfly web server will have some downtime to enable us to upgrade a database server. The work commences at 00:00 (CET) Thursday 19th April 2012 and will be completed by 02:00. During this time, your Papirfly web server will be unavailable. This affects all Papirfly web servers except for pf-web3. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

UPDATE 02:05
The database server upgrade is not yet complete so your web server is currently unavailable. We apologize for this extra downtime.

UPDATE 05:30
The database server upgrade did not complete in time so the changes have been rolled back and the upgrade will take place at  later date.

All customer databases are now available again.

Vår nettleverandør hadde en ustabilitet i forbindelse med en ruterfeil hos sin underleverandør i Oslo. Det skal nå være rettet. Vi beklager ulempen dette har medført for enkelte.

Our Internet Access Provider experienced a period of instability in connection with a router crash at their provider in Oslo. The error has now been corrected. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

The instability lasted from 10:01 to 10:21 (CET).

Vi skal utføre vedlikehold på din web server. Arbeidet består av to økter:
- Økt 1 begynner kl 22:00 onsdag 13. april 2011 og er fullført innen kl 01:00 (maks 3 timer).
- Økt 2 begynner kl 22:00 torsdag 14. april 2011 og er fullført innen midnatt (maks 2 timer).

Mens dette pågår vil din Papirfly server være utilgjengelig. Vi beklager eventuelle ulemper dette medfører.

Your Papirfly web server will have some scheduled downtime next week to allow us to perform some hardware and software upgrades. The work will be split into two sessions:
- Part 1 starts at 22:00 CEST on Wednesday 13 Apr 2011 and will complete by 01:00 (max 3 hours).
- Part 2 starts at 22:00 CEST on Thursday 14 Apr 2011 and will complete by midnight (max 2 hours).

While the work is in progress, your Papirfly web server will be unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.


UPDATE 2011-04-13 22:50 The web server pf-web3 was unavailable between 22:15 and 22:45. The web servers pf-web and pf-web2 are still unavailable.

UPDATE 2011-04-13 23:15 All planed work for part 1 is complete. All web servers are now available.

UPDATE 2011-04-14 22:00 The web server pf-web3 was unavailable between 22:01 and 22:02. The web servers pf-web and pf-web2 are still unavailable.

UPDATE 2011-04-14 22:55 Part 2 is complete. The web servers pf-web and pf-web2 were unavailable between 22:01 and 22:51. All planned work is complete and all web servers are now available.

UPDATE 09:05 - Our hosting provider has identified a problem with some networking equipment and is working to solve the problem.

UPDATE 10:07 - All our web hotels were unavailable between 08:34 and 10:05.

UPDATE 2010-09-28 - The problem yesterday was due to an incorrect firewall configuration at our hosting provider.

UPDATE 00:05 - All our web hotels were unavailable between 23:04 and 23:45.

UPDATE 2010-07-16: Driftsstans 13.07 og 14.07 skyldtes feil på sikring/jordvern som slo ut grunnet strømblink. Oppgradering av sikring/jordvern er bestilt, slik at risikoen for denne type feil reduseres ytterligere.

The problems experienced on the 13th and 14th of July were caused by an earthing fault that cut power to the web hotels. New equipment will be installed in order to minimize the risk of the same problem occurring again.
